finnagora is an institute of cultural collaboration between hungary and finland. they sent an open call for film students across finland and hungary for a film project with the theme of "touch" and "outside", to produce short films to be showcased in:

Finn Filmnapok-film festival

in Budapest 2022. I pitched with a script idea of a robot who yearns for touch, despite it's touch being toxic, and got in on the project!

We took the attitude of having a small crew with small equipment and to film this project within one weekend, much like a course practise work. Everyone from the crew had been a part of big projects and thesis films in close approximity of filming this so working on this together was extremely relaxing and fun with a smaller unit than we usually do our projects. Most of the work went on building a robot suit for our actor to wear, which was a lot of firsts for me. I ended up being really proud of the end result, which got finished despite the lack of time we got with the help of a lot of dear friends.

We shot the film in October 2021, and it is ready for the filmfestival in February.
